One of the fun aspects of the “Community Edition” project has been introducing a broad range of voices about entrepreneurship. This includes young people, their parents, and mentors who work with them.
Indeed, one of the threads in the project is entitled “Youth Are the Future” and is specifically capturing stories about young entrepreneurs and their support networks.
There have already been some marvelous guest contributions about high school and college-age entrepreneurs, from Sam Goodner, Gary Hoover, and Sarah Hernholm, among others.
If you work with youth and have experiences to share — as a mentor or “parent-repreneur” as we refer to them (parent of a teenage entrepreneur) — then we invite you to share your tips and stories, as well!
As a demonstration of our commitment to young entrepreneurs, we’re excited to be supporting the TEDxYouth@Austin program for 2016, by dedicating a portion of every sale of the Naturally Caffeinated book to the program.
Please come and meet these young creatives, with an entrepreneurial gene, at the book launch reception, September 18!
